Perkins.Tryon High School band members Aubrey Taylor and Angela Emerson were re-
cently named to the prestigious Oklahoma Music Association All-State Band.
Taylor, the daughter of P-T b&nd directors Kent and Rosalee Taylor, is a senior and plans
to attend OSU with two ma or Vocal Music and Performing Theatre.
This is her third year as being named to All-State Band. The past two years she has been
named All.State playing the oboe. Her first trip to All-State she majored in choir.
Emerson, the daughter of Dan and Kathy Emerson, has been named to All-State Band the
past two years playing the flute. She also plans to attend OSU majoring in Music Educa-
