The freshmen Lady Demons continue with their winning ways which includes a 66 Con- ference Tournament champion- ship. P-T defeated Meeker 39-23 in the championship game played Saturday in Chandler. The Lady Demons opened the tournament with a 45-16 win over Wellston then followed with a 19-12 win over Chandler in the semifinals. Tournament scoring went like this: Melisa Sadler with 40 points, Stephanie Duffy with 26, Jessica Nichols with 11, Jessica Dukes with 7, Christine Surdy with 6, Nikki Niimi, Gloria Jobe and Amanda Smalley with 4 each, and Amanda Bostian with 2. On Monday night, P-T de- feated Perry, 40-23, to increase their record to 16-1. Leading scorer was Sadler with 15 followed by Nichols with 10, Surdy with 9, and Duffy with 6. Post-season tournament assignments for varsit wrestling have been announced.
