located at 1915 North Boomer in stillwater could well
lay claim to being north Oklahoma's sandwich
capitol. Thirty-six varieties of sandwiches adorn the
menu plus salads, numerous side orders, and drinks.
Owned and operated by Mohamad K. Soukieh, a
native of Syria, the popular sandwich shop is a model
for cleanliness, quality and service.
BILL AND RUTH'S SUBMARINE SANDWICH SHOP
features dine-in, carry-out, and drive-through set-
vice. Catering service is also available. A show case
six foot party sub sandwich which serves 30 to 40
persons, is a popular party item.
The enclosed dining room, located on the north
side of the facility, seats 40 persons and often is fill-
ed and overflowing as sandwich lovers find great
delight in the generous sandwiches.

SHOP occupies the attractive building pictured above at
1915 North Boomer Road.

day. It includes a sandwich, medium drink, chips or
potato salad. On Monday, it is ham and cheese, small
or large; Tuesday features a cold-cut sandwich;
Wednesday has roast beef and cheese; Thursday lists
a belly buster; Friday has turkey and cheese and
Saturday lists a super sub.
The following sandwiches are listed on the menu:
super sub (our specialty), 3-cheese and avocado,
corned beef and cheese, rueben, pastrami and
cheese, beef, ham and cheese, drip beef, turkey,
turkey and cheese, cold-cut, eastern style hoagie,
meatball and cheese, bar-b-oue beef, tuna fish, Big
John, Poor Boy, and Little Boy.
From the grill section the listings are: a steak and
onion sub, regular hamburger, regular cheesebur-
ger, double hamburger, double cheeseburger,
regular bacon burger, double bacon burger, chicken
finger, chicken and French fries, BLT, and grilled
cheese.
Under Chili and Dogs, BILL AND RUTH'S SUBMARINE
SANDWICH SHOP has a foot-long coney, chili dog, chili
cheese coney, chili, dill pickle, and Jalapeno Pepper,
Salad lovers are not forgotten with a choice of
dressing, which includes oil and vinegar, French,
Thousand Island, Creamy Italian, and Blue Cheese.
Salads are chef's salad, avocado, tuna, Frito chili pie,
combination salad, taco salad, and potato salad.
BILL AND RUTH'S SUBMARINE SANDWICH SHOP is
open seven days a week. Sunday through Wednes-
day, hours are 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday through
Saturday hours are 10 a.m. until 10 p.m..
Sandwich lovers appreciate a choice Of breads for
their favorite fare, which includes white, wheat,
onion or rye French rolls. Sandwiches can be accom-
panied with onions and/or peppers at no extra
charge. Drinks are served small, medium or large.
