PERKINS PISTOLS
WIN TWO
10 and under boys coached
by Larry Mitchell and Keith
Hawxby crawled out of their
losing two games to win two.
The Pistols defeated Will
Rogers 6-5. Pitcher was Bode
Turner. The Pistols hit the
ball only twice but scored on
walks.
The Pistols fired up after
their win, came back to win
against Westwood 10-9.
Brad Neitman was starting
pitcher with Bode Turner as
relief pitcher. The Pistols
were hitting the ball and
fielding very good.
Some outstanding hits
were made by Kevin
Richardson, Brad Neitman,
Greg Rose, Colt Ferrell,
Danny Couch and Alan
Blevins.
The score was tied going
into the last inning, the
Pistols did some good
pitching and fielding to hold
Westwood. Then the pistols
were up for last bat. Alan
Blevins walked to get on
base, then Greg Rose hit a
ground ball to 1st base to get
the winning run homel
The Pistols' final game is
Thursday at 7:45. Then the
Pistols will play in a
tournament next week.
