a vine that covers her back porch. She stated that one leaf
on the seven-year old plant was over eleven inches across.
Marler also said the plant was of the Chinese okra variety
and she had gotten the starter seed from Ethel Frame.

The menu for next week includes,

Tuesday, 10/22, is a cheesebur-
ger, vegetarian baked beans, let-
tuce, sliced pickles, onion and to-
mato garnish and apricot bread

Wednesday, 10/23, will include
liver fiesta, whipped potatoes,
green beans, cornmeal muffins
with butter and bluebe cobbler
for dessert.
Thursday, 10/24, is turkey
terazzine, broccoli, beets in or-
ange sauce, a whole wheat roll
with butter and chilled peaches
for dessert.
Friday, 10/25, is a ham and egg
salad on lettuce, Italian min-
estrone soup, orange juice, crack-
ers and a cinnamon roll with but-
