It was about 4:(X) a.m., I heard
something in the living room. I
woke up the rest of my family and
as we sat in the dark hall leading
to the living room, I saw a round
man with rosie cheeks, a red hat,
and a red suit. I knew it was Santa.
My whole lamily watched in
shock. My Dad slowly stated up,
and went to go get the camera. He
turned it on. Santa pulled some
present out of his big red bag,
drank his milk, and stuffed his
cookies in his pocket.
My whole family was speech-
less. We got up. and looked
around. It couldn't have been but
15 minutes felt like an hour.
That's my law)rite Christmas
memory.

I woke up one morning and
found it had snowed overnight.
I was in a big hurry to go out in
the snow and sled. 1 finally got to
go outside. I went and dug out my
old sled and got on top of a big,
big, big, big hill. I got my sled in
my hands and I moved my legs to
get going. I started going faster so
I jumped on the sled and took off
- faster and faster. I thought, I'll
stand up. When I did, the sled shot
out from under me, and I went roll-
ing down the hill.
Finally I got to the bottom of the
hill. Then, l got up and found the
sled and went back in the house.

It was just before Christmas. We
were outside playing at Jessica
Turner's house. We were playing
snowball dodge. We didn't have
gloves on so our hands were cold.
Well, about time when they were
red and numb we went inside.
Jessica's morn made us some hot
chocolate. We were sitting in the
floor drinking hot chocolate and
watching cartoons.
We went back outside and made
snow angels. We chased each other
around the yard. We had her sister
Bethany get us some trash bags so
we could slide.
We had a lot of fun that day.

One time at Christmas, I got a
present, a big one at that. I like
presents! One time I had a stock-
ing with candy and I ate the candy.
I got a Grineh blanket. Then I went
to my grandma's house and ate
food and opened presents. Then
me and my uncles played basket-
ball and football.
It's fun and I plan to do it this
year.

It was 2 weeks after New Years
and my family was on a ski trip at
Red River, New Mexico. when the
runs were fixing to be closed for
the day. We were going to ride the
ski lift back up one more time. My
morn and brother were getting on
and the man running that lift folded
the seats up because it was clos-
down right on his face and my
mom was dangling from the pole
so she finally let go before she fell
in the creek below.
Thankfully they were both okay,
but the man running the lift felt
really bad.
While this was all happening my
dad and I were standing there
laughing our heads off.

It was a day before Christmas.
My Dad and his friend took his son
and me sledding. My dad had just
made a sled for me. It would go
faster than any sled there.
Right before we left my friend
and I went down a hill. We
cr~shed. He got a thorn stuck in
his forehead. 1 ran into a pine tree.
It hurt! I had a bump on my head
for about two days. We had fun
anyway.

would be year '97.
When my dog went outside, my
cousin and brother went outside to
play. They had just finished open-
ing their presents. Then I finished
opening my presents too. My morn
went to her room to take a nap.
Then I asked her if I could go play

got dressed in her room. Then 1
went outside. My brother and
cousin told me they couldn't find
the dog and I went up to the road
and I found him. He was in a sit-
