Home was conducted in the
Carney Cemetery.
A native of Oklahoma, Mr.
Stewart was born June 29, 1909,
at Tryon, the son of the late Fred
and Mae Smith Stewart. He was
reared and received his early
education in the Tryon area. On
March 31, 1936, he married Ines
M. Bingham at Perkins. The cou-
ple established their first home in
the Tryon Community, later mov-
ing to Cushing in 1947. Mr.
Stewart operated a Dairy and
then later was employed with
Huff Service Station. He had
been employed by Foreseel
Chevrolet for 27 years prior to his
retirement in 1974. During his
retirement, Mr. Stewart worked
with the Green Thumb Program.
He died Monday evening in the
Cushing Regional Hospital
following an illness of 6 months.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs.
Ines M. Stewart of the home; a
daughter, Mrs. Judy Ann May of
Harrah, Oklahoma; 6 brothers,
Gilbert of Perkins, John of
Fresno, California, Everett of San
Antonio, Texas, Robert of Del Ci-
ty, Oklahoma, Fred of Muskogee,
Oklahoma, and Leroy Stewart of
Stiliwater; 2 sisters, Gladys
Lowman of Cushing, and Ada
Johnson of Stillwater; 3 Grand-
children and 2 Step-Grandchild-
ren.

LaRue, 85 years old, were held on
Dec.. 15, 1984 at 10 a.m. in the
Smith Funeral Home Chapel,
Guthrie. Rev. Bruce Graft of.
ficiated and interment was at
Crescent Cemetery. Arrange-
ments were under the direction of
Smith Funeral Home, Guthrie.
Born Aug. 2, 1899 in Larnar,
Ark., he died December 12, 1984
in Guthrie Nursing Center at the
age of 85 years, four months and
10 days. He was a retired Fair-
